TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Dawn Till Dusk including its employees' subsidiary and associate company and agents accepts booking subject to the following terms and conditions.

Any information or advice provided by the Company on matters such as permits, visas, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, etc, is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of the Company, and the clients accepts responsibility for obtaining any necessary visas and travel documents required for the tour.

Please make sure to go through every information given below.

BOOKINGS

Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the hazards involved in this kind of holidays, including injury, disease, loss/damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort. The whole philosophy of this type of travel is one, which allows alternatives and a substantial degree of on-tour flexibility. The outline itineraries given for each group should be accomplished, and not as a contractual obligation on the part of Dawn Till Dusk. Changes in itinerary may be caused by local political conditions, flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, weather, border restrictions, sickness, or other unforeseeable circumstances. No refunds will be given for services not utilised. It is a fundamental condition of joining any of the tours that you accept this flexibility, and acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results such as inconvenience, discomfort, or disappointment are possible.

1. Clients must be above16 years of age, to book a tour. He/she has to book on behalf of the entire group agreeing to the terms set out below.

2. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded. However, provided you notify us of your cancellation before your final, payment is due; your deposit may be transferred to another Dawn till Dusk tour. This tour must be taken within 12 months of cancellation of the original tour.

PAYMENT

Tibet: Requested advance of the total 30% of quoted price should be paid 90 days prior and rest remain amount should be paid  in 4 weeks prior to arrival.  If a tour needs to be cancelled, following cancellation charges will be made

30 days prior to departure 35% of the tour cost

21 days prior to departure 60% of the tour cost

14 days prior to departure 80% of the tour cost

07 days prior to departure 90% of the tour cost

There will be no refunds if you have by any reason whatsoever; either voluntarily missed the tour after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any meals, accommodation for service not utilized.

Nepal:  3. A deposit of 25% of the tour price is payable to confirm booking subject to availability; paid by wire transfer (please contact us for our bank details).

4. The final balance is payable no later than 35 days prior to departure (again, payment to be made by wire transfer). If your balance is not paid at the specified time (unless previously agreed with us in writing), we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

5. The full tour price is due at the time of booking for bookings within 35 days.

If a tour needs to be cancelled, following cancellation charges will be made

30 days prior to departure 15% of the tour cost

21 days prior to departure 35% of the tour cost

14 days prior to departure 60% of the tour cost

7 days or fewer prior to departure 80% of the tour cost

There will be no refunds if you have by any reason whatsoever; either voluntarily missed the tour after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any meals, accommodation for service not utilized.

CANCELLATION

If a tour needs to be cancelled, following cancellation charges will be made 

30 days prior to departure 15% of the tour cost

21 days prior to departure 35% of the tour cost

14 days prior to departure 60% of the tour cost

7 days or fewer prior to departure 80% of the tour cost

There will be no refunds if you have by any reason whatsoever; either voluntarily missed the tour after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any meals, accommodation for service not utilized.

The price quoted is net so while transferring tour cost through bank, the transfer charge should be borne by the sender. If you do not pay your balance at the specified time without making prior arrangements with us we reserve the right to cancel your booking or pursue any unpaid monies.

NO SHOW POLICY

In the event, if a passenger holding a confirmed booking fails to show up, he/she will not be eligible for any refund

INSURANCE

Clients must be protected by insurance that covers cancellation, health, emergency evacuation (Including heli-rescue) and loss or damage and personal effects. If there are any delays or cancelation due to weather, strikes, in case of extra vehicle required (Apart from what mentioned included in the itinerary), she/he has to bare all the excess expenses.

HEALTH

Mountain biking, trekking, bungee jumping, Para Gliding, jungle exploring, kayaking and white water rafting are strenuous activities. Good health and physical fitness are required on all trips. If you are above 65 years of age, please send a doctor’s evaluation with your reservation forms. If any client is going through medication or any special treatment, please inform us while booking. A thorough medical check-up is recommended before you leave for Nepal. Inoculations against typhoid, paratyphoid, tetanus, meningitis, rabbis and Hepatitis are recommended. If you lack one of these vaccines, we suggest you receive them at the CIWEC Clinic Kathmandu (telephone +977-1- 4424111, 4424242, 4435232) or Vayodha Hospital Balkhu, Kathmandu (telephone +977-1- 4281666, 42864258) Yellow fever and Cholera treatments are required if arriving within six days from an infected area. During the trip we’ll carry a complete first aid kit, and our guides are trained in first aid. We suggest you bring a first aid kit, for your personal needs and special requirements. (At the main briefing please tell us if you have any special medical needs).

COMPLAINT

If you have any complaint about the holiday, you should make known at the earliest opportunity to the leader and/or to Company representative who will normally be able to take appropriate action. If you are not satisfied with their response and you feel your enjoyment of the tour is likely to be significantly affected, you should notify our Company and we will do our best to resolve the problem. 

RESPONSIBILITY

RISK AND LIABILITY

Travelers who sign with Dawn Till Dusk trips will be exposed to heath risks because of the nature of the terrain and travel in Himalayan Countries. In the events of illness, accident or delays, Dawn Till Dusk and its agent will not be responsible or liable for damages. Please remember you travel at your own risk.  The company acts as an agent for transport companies, hotels and other contractors and shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, damage, loss delay or any irregularity that may be occasioned for any reason, including, but not limited to the defect in vehicle; the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying a client; acts of God; detention, delays or expenses arising from quarantine, illness in remote places without medical facilities, strikes, thefts, pilferage, civil disturbances, bad weather, government restrictions or regulations; accident involving mountain bicycle, raft, kayak, elephant, foot or motor vehicle, or in any hotel, lodge, guest house or camping services.  The clients specifically agree that the company shall not be held responsible for any delays or changes in itinerary caused by any act, commission or other circumstances.

The clients understands that during the course of the trip certain risks and dangers may occur, including but not limited to hazards of travelling bicycles, white water raft, kayak, elephants, foot or motor vehicle, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities and the forces of nature. The client agrees to assume all risks associated with the tour and agrees that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents or to any member of the tour group in respect of death, personal injury, illness or delay of the client or damage to the client’s property during the course of the trip, however caused.

The company reserves the right to cancel a tour prior to departure. In such a case, full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the client. Trip costs are based on minimum group sizes and the right is reserved to surcharge clients if the group size is not achieved. The company reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of any party at any time.  Client agrees to accept the authority of the guides.

VISAS & PASSPORT

Travelers to Tibet are permitted only as a member of a commercially organized tour group with at least 6 months valid passport and 2 way entry visas, one for the first arrival in Nepal and another entry visa for entering Nepal from Tibet.

Following information must be forwarded to us at least four weeks prior to date of travel, for processing visa with the concerned authorities. Passport photo copy by fax or scanned through e-mail. (This must be the passport the client will be    traveling with in Nepal/Tibet).
