A fully guided and supported tour within and around Lhasa. This tour covers all the important monasteries such as Tashilhunpo Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Norbulingka, Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and the lovely Barkhor Market, etc. We offer two options to choose from.

BRIEF ITINERARY

OPTION 1
Day 01: Thursday Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel. Evening briefing.
Day 02: Friday Check your bikes. Half day sight seeing in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Saturday Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa. Drive to hotel, assemble bikes. O/N hotel.
Day 04: Sunday Easy ride around Lhasa, to visit Norbulinka, Jokhang and Sera Monasteries, O/N hotel.
Day 05: Monday Visit Drepung Monastery and Potala Palace. Rest of the day free to explore Lhasa. O/N hotel.
Day 06: Tuesday Ride Lhasa to Damshong, 160km, O/N guesthouse.
Day 07: Wednesday Ride Damshong to Namtso Lake. 60km, O/N guest house.
Day 08: Thursday short ride around Namtso and back to Damshong, O/N Guest house.
Day 09: Friday Ride or drive back to Lhasa on same way and spend your last night in Tibet O/N Hotel.
Day 10: Saturday Fly back to Nepal.
Day 11: Sunday Departure.

Day 01: Thursday Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel. Evening briefing.

Day 03: Saturday Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa. Drive to hotel, assemble bikes. O/N hotel.
Day 04: Sunday Easy ride around Lhasa, visit Norbulinka, Jokhang and Sera Monasteries, O/N hotel.
Day 05: Monday Visit Drepung Monastery and Potala Palace. Rest of the day free to explore Lhasa. O/N hotel.
Day 06: Tuesday Ride Lhasa to Gongar, 96km, O/N Hotel.
Day 07: Wednesday Ride from Gongar to Tsedang, the third Tibetan largest city, 100km, O/N Hotel.
Day 08: Thursday Ride Tsedang to Samye Monastery, the first Tibetan monastery, 60km,it was built in the middle of 8th century, O/N Monastery Guest house.
Day 09: Friday Ride back to the Tsedang, O/N Hotel.
Day 10: Saturday Fly back to Nepal.
Day 11: Sunday Departure.

TRIP REQUIREMENTS

Bike Rent: You need a mountain bike in excellent condition with helmet (both available for hire in Kathmandu). We have big stock of bikes with front suspension e.g. TREK and GIANT with genuine parts.
